Playdate sessions are collaborative sessions utilizing the P&S bass & drums in conjunction with like-minded musicians and producers.

Dub Workshop Vol 1 was a live studio recording session from It's The Sound Studio in Brooklyn, NY, exploring the world of dub improvisation featuring Curtis Ruptash and Phillip Hertz (AKA Peabody & Sherman) with Yusuke Yamamoto, Jeremy Wilms (Chin Chin, DUB Nomads) and Mari Ayabe (inside his own head). Tracks from this session have been remixed and released as "Peabody & Sherman's Playdate: Dub Workshop Vol 1."

The Peabody & Sherman rhythm squad returned to Brooklyn for the second Playdate, and the second Dub Workshop. Dub Workshop V2 is some live dub experimentation at BPM in Brooklyn. Participants included Curtis Ruptash and Phillip Hertz (AKA Peabody & Sherman) with Yoshio "Afro Tony" Kobayashi (AKOYO/DUB Nomads), Mari Ayabe (Chimp Beams) and Nico Georis, with some extra horns by Troy Simms on sax and Omar on trumpet.

The sessions were really hot, but we didn't get good enough recordings to release, so here are a couple of bits we selected to give you an idea of how it went.
